sign in status has changed? - xbox liveok so i brought an xbox about 2 months ago and ever since ive been trying to play xbxo online (mostly cod) and it always kicks me out after 20-30mins of playing and says sign in status has changed....now i thought it might be the modem...brought a new one and it still happens....thought it might be my account or xbox....so a freind brought his xbox over and the same thing happened.....this is driving me crazy ive rang xbox customer support, my modem and isp customer supports so many times and none of them can help me, please someone help!!!!

My old Sky broadband used to do this but the line settled down after about 3 months of it being active, who's your ISP?

Try setting your Internet connection details on the Xbox manually rather than auto. Worth a pop - sorted mine out a year or so ago, when trying to connect via a laptop with Ethernet.

thanks guys, well sorry i live in australia haha but good joke about the rioting...lol. well i have tried using a cable but that doesnt changed anything so i just went back to wireless. i have entered the ip adress and everything manually and it still occurs, any other suggestions this is driving me crazy!

If you run the network test thing what does it come back with for NAT, guessing a bit but sign in status changing sounds different to being disconnected from live i wonder if your isp is blocking or throttling something..

If you have edited the settings on the router and no luck, then reset it. If you've resetted it and still no luck, then well its just your internet connection :confused:

ok well i have tried to reset my router before but its still done it, im with oneseniors and i have 20mb/ps with unlimited downloads so ity should be doing well, i dont understand why it isnt...this really sucks so bad i dont understand what to do...if someone can provide me with really in detail instructions that would be excellent

Did you check the post i added that fixed the issue for someone else..?

They fixed theres by resetting their router since fiddling with the settings apparently is what caused it or something.

I dont get what the big problem is. I get that too but not often, I just change the position of my Wireless Network Adapter and usually it should last me 2 hours before my network drops.

ok thanks everyone i have finally fixed my problem!! it worked for about a day and no i have a new problem....now i try to play black ops and it tells me black ops is unavailable at this time? and it does it alll the time i cant even play a full game....any help please?

i dont recieve any error from nat, i cant play any games online now without getting kicked after 5 minutes, it sucks so bad and i dont no what it is...
